There's only one place where a group of super heroes can cheer on a Tongan winger throwing a no-look pass. HSBC Wellington Sevens will see 16 of the world's top rugby sevens nations split into four pools for two days of non-stop action.

Wellington welcomes the vibrant and iconic HSBC Sevens World Series 2017. Two days of fast-paced rugby action and entertainment at Westpac Stadium - Saturday 28 & Sunday 29 January.

The eighteenth year of this event will see it come alive in a new and vibrant way featuring appearances and dishes by four well-known Wellington chefs (Martin Bosley, Shaun Clouston (Logan Brown, Grill Meats Beer), Rex Morgan (Boulcott St Bistro) and Steve Morris) in the Food+Fizz alley, along with a mix of live DJ music in the stands and high profile, award-winning NZ music acts such as Kings, Nesian Mystik, nomad, Maala and Koi Boys (recently on The Voice Australia).
