Enlighten - where culture and creativity illuminate the capital from 3 - 12 March 2017. 

See Canberra in a different light this Autumn when many of the city's national attractions open their doors after-hours to host an array of exclusive events and surprising experiences.

Spectacular architectural projections, international installations, live entertainment and food galore will see Enlighten transform Canberra into a nocturnal playground.

Over 10 nights, Canberra's Parliamentary Triangle and Enlighten satellite venues (Canberra Glassworks, National Zoo and Aquarium and the Australian National Botanic Gardens) will be transformed into vibrant arts precincts, showcasing Australian premiere performances, amusing roving artists, live bands and enchanting performances - all set against a backdrop of stunning architectural projections that shine a light on some of Australia's most iconic locations.

This year, site specific designs will be projected across six iconic buildings:

Old Parliament House
National Library of Australia
Questacon
National Portrait Gallery
National Gallery of Australia
National Archives of Australia

Projections from 8pm till 10pm Sunday to Thursday; and till midnight Friday and Saturday. ActewAGL is proud to be the energy partner of Enlighten. ActewAGL are working to strengthen the future of Enlighten, to deliver this event using more renewable energy sources.

As the lights go on across the Parliamentary Triangle visitors can tuck into fun, authentic Asian eats, from dumplings to dosa, Pad Thai to gyoza at the Enlighten Night Noodle Markets.

Bars and music will add to the market atmosphere.
